Jonah Shacknai is a business professional with decades of experience in the pharmaceutical field. He is co-founder and chairman at Illustris Pharmaceuticals and co-founder and Executive Chairman at DermaForce Partners. He founded Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation as well. In addition, he served as Chief Aide to the US House of Representative’s committee for health policy.
In addition to the time and energy that he spends in his professional life, Mr. Shacknai also dedicates a great deal of his energy towards charitable causes. In 2012, he started The MaxInMotion Foundation to allow economically and physically challenged children to participate in sports. So far, the organizations has affected the lives of more than 34,000 young athletes. In 2019, MaxInMotion announced that they would be continuing their partnership with the Arizona Soccer Association for an 8th consecutive year. During the time of this partnership, they have donated more than $800,000 to ASA players.
He is also the President of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids Foundation, a leading American advocacy organization that is working to reduce tobacco use and its consequences in the US and around the world. Since 1996, the company’s tireless work has helped to create a 70% reduction in youth smoking and a 39% decrease in adult smoking.
